The actress has been working with holistic nutritionist Kelly LeVeque in preparation for her upcoming movie, Peppermint, and part of her film-prep diet includes a protein-packed breakfast smoothie. The key ingredient? A collagen protein powder, which is known for improving skin and hair health. Oh, and Garner also added in some baby food from the company she co-founded, Once Upon a Farm, because why not?
"Today, I decided to play scientist and see if my Once Upon a Farm cold-pressed, organic purée—or baby food, if you’re a baby, but whatever—could be a substitute for fresh blueberries when I didn’t see any in the fridge," she wrote on Instagram. "Yep, it could."
Garner's filling drink includes the collagen protein powder (her favorite is Primal Kitchen's Chocolate Coconut Collagen Fuel), flaxseed, chia seeds, almond butter, almond milk, fresh spinach, ice, and blueberries.
